As part of the 4Ever project, we have been releasing an HEVC and DASH ultra high definition dataset, ranging from 8bit 720p 30Hz up to 10bit 2160p 60 Hz. The dataset is released under CC BY-NC-ND.

Release 0.5.0 of GPAC is finally out, with many new features and bug fixes, including:
– MPEG-DASH and HLS support (players and MP4Box)
– MPEG-U Widgets and UPnP support in the player
– Stereo and multiview display support
– Better AVC and SVC support including OpenSVC decoder integration
– More live tools: RTP, MPEG-TS, T-DMB support, scene encoders (BIFS and RME/DIMS)
– iOS and Android support
– and many other good things

Telecom ParisTech has been generating a set of DASH sequences, and is making them available for DASH conformance testing. This sequencesare distributed under the terms of the Creative Common by-nc-nd Licence.
Since no release has occured since December 2008, the last packaged release (0.4.5) has become obsolete. Please check out the SVN or contact us for a snapshot of the SVN.
